    Friendly host, great place for kids to run around and experience the Lightning Ridge landscape. Kids will enjoy finding opals near the office. Very basic toilets and showers but still clean. We were camping so enjoyed the open fire and seeing the stars. We loved seeing the kangaroos, emus and friendly horses. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Lightning Ridge you are full of surprises!

    In there own words. No bells or whistles. But a level patch of dirt to park on and power/water for $25 a night. Kids are free
