    A definite must see if visiting The Ridge. A great collection of fossils and opals and friendly staff who are happy to explain everything.

    For a very small place they have a wide collection of opals, opalised fossils and gems. Two women sharing their passion for opals and opal mining. I wish them well with their project to build a centre that will do justice to Lightning Ridge. The design by Glenn Murcutt looks stunning.
