    Always a favorite when we go back home. The kids just love it. Its amaazing how good of a sleep you have when you take a swim at night in the pool and how much it relaxes you. If you visit Lightning Ridge its a must for you to take a nice long dip in the pool.

    Free, hot spring/ bore bath in lighting ridge, without the harsh Sulfur smell and a decent amount of heat to warm up tired muscles

    This attraction is a MUST DO if visiting Lightning Ridge. We made the effort to go at sunrise and it didnt disappoint. Absolutely magnificent. So peaceful just sitting in the warm/hot bath watching the changing colours of the sky.

    Another great initiative of the Walgett Shire. The pools are very well maintained and clean. A real bonus that they are provided free of charge and can be accessed any time except 10:00 -12 midday when closed for cleaning and maintenance. Be warned they are hot! Showers are provided and patrons are expected to shower before entering the pools.
